Barcelona star Neymar is set to make his first ever Champions League appearance tonight.

The £49million signing from Santos is yet to play in the prestigious competition - but should make his Champions League bow in tonight's match against Dutch giants Ajax.

Neymar has so far made four appearances for the Catalan giants with the 21-year-old making two starts and two appearances from the substitutes' bench.

Barcelona's newest recruit said before moving to the Camp Nou that it was his 'dream to play in Europe'.

Neymar's only goal of his Barcelona career thus far came against Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in the Spanish Super Cup, which turned out to be the eventual winner.

Gerardo Martino's side face a tough schedule with the La Liga champions having to play five games in the next 13 days.

AC Milan and Celtic make up Group H in what is one of this year's toughest Champions League groups.
