Manchester derby quiz

The Manchester derbies are always two of the most hotly-contested matches of the season, and recently have played a major role in deciding who wins the Premier League.

This year's contest should be no different and it will be interesting to see how the sides line up as both have new managers and key players. Whilst David Moyes may opt for experience and an English spine to his team, that's not really an option for Manuel Pellegrini.

Moyes will also be drawing on his own experiences from previous derby's from his time at Everton, though he'll be hoping his record of away derby games doesn't follow him to Old Trafford.

Moyes never managed to beat Liverpool at Anfield whilst he was Everton manager, he also notably failed to ever take three points at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford. He'll be hoping his new tenure at Old Trafford doesn't start on a similar footing.

The Manchester derby is certainly due to be a loud affair with the two teams being able to boast of the highest attendances in the Premier League. Remarkably their joint 2010 revenues made up almost 25% of the 20-team Premier League's revenue.

Probably only the El Clasico can pull in a larger world wide audience and boast a playing field worth more than the 22 men on the pitch in Manchester this weekend.

With pundits split and the Premier League's quality under the spotlight this year after a poor show of English teams in Europe last year, we're hoping for an English "Clasico" this weekend.
