Manchester United travel to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a match that will see Manuel Pellegrini and David Moyes go head-to-head in their first Manchester derby.

Both sides go into the game after impressive midweek Champions League victories against Bayer Leverkusen and Viktoria Plzen respectively.

The Red Devils faced a hard task at home to Bayer Leverkusen, who are currently third in a highly competitive Bundesliga.

United ran out 4-2 winners, with Wayne Rooney and Antonio Valencia putting in outstanding performances in the Group A encounter.

City on the other hand defeated Czech Republic side Plzen by three goals to nil.

Strikers Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero scored either side of Yaya Toure's strike from 25 yards.

The Manchester duo currently sit on seven points in the Premier League with City narrowly ahead of the Red Devils on goal difference.

Last season's encounter at the Etihad Stadium saw Manchester United win the three points with seconds to go - as Robin van Persie's late free-kick was deflected past the helpless Joe Hart to seal a 3-2 win for his side.

Moyes and Pellegrini will both be desperate to avoid defeat in what is their first Manchester derby.

Here is how I think the two teams will line-up on Sunday:

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Kolarov, Navas, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Milner, Aguero, Dzeko.

Manchester United: De Gea, Smalling, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Fellaini, Young, Rooney, Van Persie.
