John Obi Mikel has declared that in his opinion Chelsea are very beatable these days, according to The Express.
It comes two days after the Europa League winners were given a footballing lesson by a fearless Basel side with nothing to lose were subsequently beaten 2-1 at home.
Mikel reckons that Chelsea can lose to pretty much anyone at the moment and that things need to be sorted out if they are to have a fruitful season.
The confidence of the squad has been absolutely wrecked by three straight defeats which have started to put pressure on both Mourinho and the team.
"If we play the way we did here, we have a chance of losing to anyone we play," Mikel said.
"We go back to training now and must look at the things we have done wrong and try to put it right. It was really, really bad - a very bad result for us. We knew the kind of team we were playing against. We knew how good they are on the ball and what they can do".
The situation at Chelsea is a puzzling one. Questions are raised as to whether or not the new acquisitions fit into Mourinho's system, or it's just a case of the players not giving it their all for the shirt they wear.
For me the real problem still remains up front. Without goals you cannot win games and at the moment Chelsea are missing a Didier Drogba type player; Someone who could hold up the ball and commit people.
Mourinho has clarified that he is happy with the three forwards for the rest of the season but current results do suggest that Chelsea will be back in the market come the January transfer window.
