Arsenal have been up to their old tricks once again after announcing the signing of Semi Ajayi from Charlton's academy.

Although unlikely to be splashed across the back pages, these young signings are nothing but an investment for the future.

If Ajayi realises his potential, he will prove a bargain and Arsene Wenger would have pulled off another fantastic young signing. Fail, and the day he signed will be quickly forgotten.

Some times, these young transfers can prove to be excellent additions to the squad. 

Bought young and groomed to the manager's wishes, some of the brightest talents in world football have been unceremoniously stolen from one club, only to succeed at another.
