Former Arsenal boss George Graham believes the Gunners need to sign a 25-goal striker in January to help them maintain a Premier League title challenge this season, reports talkSPORT

Graham currently believes the Gunners' squad are one or two players short but insists if Arsene Wenger can add to his side in January then the north London outfit have a great chance of winning the title.

Wenger's side currently sit top of the league after four wins in a row in England's elite division and Graham belives they will be up there for the long haul:

Speaking to Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Graham said: “Arsenal can keep it going. People forget they were the form team in the last third of last season, so it’s not a surprise to me.

“I looked at the early fixtures and thought if they bought a few players they could be right at the top and challenging for the Premier League title.

“They definitely need a couple more. The squad is a little weak and they need a 25 league goal centre-forward. That would be a great signing in the [January] window.

“I think Arsenal will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, I really do.

“If they can get one or two more [signings] in the winter, I think they’ve got a great chance.”

The Gunners will hope to continue their fine form this weekend as they face a tricky game at Michael Laudrup's Swansea City.

Laudrup's side will hope to get back to winning ways after being knocked out of the Capital One Cup against Championship outfit Birmingham in midweek.
