Manchester United boss David Moyes has revealed talks to extend teenage starlet Adnan Januzaj's stay at Old Trafford are progressing well.
The midfielder - who United signed from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2011 for a fee believed to be in the region of £297,000 - has flourished since breaking into the Red Devils first team.
Januzaj made his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace earlier this month and made a cameo appearance against Liverpool in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
The Belgian starlet had previously impressed during Manchester United's pre-season tour of Australia and Asia.
Januzaj, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent weeks with Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester City all said to be interested in signing the 18-year-old.
However Moyes is confident Manchester United will be able to extend Januzaj's current deal.
"As far as I know, things are moving along," Moyes told reporters. "As soon as we get the news, we will give it to you."
