West Brom shocked English champions Manchester United as they came away from Old Trafford with a 2-1 win.
United were desperate to get all three points although West Brom played well throughout the duration of the game and David Moyes' side were consigned to defeat for the second time in two games.
Both teams started quietly and only a few chances were created, United having the majority. Boaz Myhill smartly saved from Wayne Rooney, with the England striker also missing the target soon after.
West Brom also had their fair share but could not capitalise, with new signing Morgan Amalfitano crossing for Stephane Sessgnon to head wide.
Berahino had came on early in the first half for the injured Scott Sinclair, and the striker looked lively at the start of the first half. He came close after the break, having his shot saved by the foot of goalkeeper David de Gea.
United were wasteful in the final third and were made to pay when West Brom took the lead, Amalifitano easily forced his way through the United defence before cleverly fooling De Gea with a fake shot and then dinking the ball over the grounded goalkeeper.
Yet the off par United fought back, and forced a lucky equaliser. Rooney's free kick crept into the net, finding it's way through everyone without getting any touch before fooling Myhill.
West Brom again sparked into life, Jonas Olsson hit the bar and Amalfitano forced the United goalkeeper into a very smart stop.
However it was Berahino who found a winner, with the young strikers shot nestling into the bottom corner of the net.
Despite the pushed efforts for an equaliser it wasn't going to be United's day. A disappointing result for United who have now made their worst start to the League in 24 years. The Red Devils sit 12th although could move lower depending on Sunday's results.
