Hull City star Curtis Davies has promised that he will streak around the KC stadium should the Tigers end above Manchester United this season.

The Premier League new-boys are currently three points better off than the champions, with the Red Devils only having picked up seven points in their opening six games.

And, after United were beaten 2-1 at home to West Brom last weekend and Hull City beat West Ham 1-0, Steve Bruce's side  moved into eighth place in the table.

However, with just six games gone, Davies knows that it would take a miracle for his side to end above David Moyes' side.

But, if Hull were to pull it off, Davies has promised that he will strip around the KC stadium.

When discussing his potential streak, the central defender told the Daily Express: “If we end up above United, I will streak around the KC.

“I’m not too sure it will happen but it’s just good that we are doing well. With United down there, it’s a big shock for the league.”

However, Davies has admitted that Hull's priority is to avoid relegation this season. He continued by saying: "Ultimately, we are just doing all we can to push as high up the table as we can and, hopefully, be safe as quick as possible.

“It’s a bizarre one because Villa this season have been up and down. They have beaten Arsenal away and Manchester City and then probably lost a couple they shouldn’t have. You don’t know what you are going to get.

“We need to go into the match with the confidence we have taken from the last couple of wins and, hopefully, make it three and push further up the table.”
