Chelsea and Arsenal target Karim Benzema has insisted that he will continue to give his all to current club Real Madrid, despite the less than pleasant treatment he has received from the club's fans over recent weeks.

25-year-old Benzema, who joined the Spanish giants from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon in July 2009, has struggled for form on occasion so far this season and his performances have been met with frequent vocal displeasure from the supporters inside the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite that negative reaction, however, French international Benzema insists he has acknowledged the fans' frustrations and remains committed to the Real cause.

"There is no problem for me, so I just have to keep working," Benzema was quoted by talkSPORT.

"I am calm - the most important thing is to play. I need to defend more - I get the public message.

"I will continue to give my all," he added.

Benzema, who has won 60 senior international caps, was linked with a potential switch away from La Liga during the summer transfer window, with Premier League leaders Arsenal widely considered to be interested in securing his signature.

Real's current dearth of striking options meant a sale was never likely, however, but reports have surfaced this week linking Jose Mourinho and Chelsea with a move for Benzema when the window re-opens during the winter.

A possible January departure for the temperamental frontman will presumably depend on his current club being able to secure a possible replacement. Liverpool's controversial Uruguayan Luis Suarez is the most recent name to be rumoured to be heading to the Bernabeu.
