Premier League clubs hoping to secure the services of Valencia centre-back Adil Rami have received a massive blow as it has been revealed that Valencia are set to offer him to Napoli.

Manchester United, City and Arsenal are all reported to be interest in the defender, who has fallen heavily out of favour at the Spanish club after criticising the club, and he will apparently be sold at the first available opportunity.

However despite the fact that there are a number of European giants vying for his signature, Napoli is being touted as the most likely destination.

The Italian giants were stopped in their tracks when they attempted to sign Rami over the summer, but the situation has since changed and now Valencia are willing to negotiate for his sale.

Yesterday reports surfaced that Rafael Benitez's club had rejected the chance to bring in the France centre-back on-loan, but they may well opt to move for him if it's a permanent deal.

However it is believed that the Italian side will remain steadfast in their decision not to pay more than the initially-offered £7.5million for him.
