What are the roles and responsibilities of playing for a top Premier League club?
You train, you sleep and you play; all whilst taking care of your body - a small ask when you earn hundreds of thousands of pounds every month.
England international Jack Wilshere was caught smoking a cigarette outside a London club after Arsenal's 2-0 win over Napoli at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
Victory over the in-form Napoli side was not enough to satisfy Wilshere, as he put himself in a new pond of trouble and under the eyes of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and, more importantly, England boss Roy Hodgson.
With two vital World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Montenegro a week away, you could say he is more important to England than he is to Arsenal at the moment with Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey being the star men in midfield.
Lies, Jack came out on Twitter saying: " for the record, i don't smoke " and his representatives claiming he was involved in a dare - a pretty big given a gifted future can all be thrown away like that.
But your telling me that he is the only one, of course not.
Many players smoke and drink so surely the drink effects their health prior to match conditions and training. Also the example these players set are key to the next generation. You don't want a young boy asking his mum for a cigarette because he saw England's top midfielder having one.
