San Marino beware - England under-21 stars Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Zaha look in frightening form ahead of Thursday's encounter, with the Liverpool and Manchester United youngsters captured scoring for fun in training.

England under-21s face San Marino at the Serravalle Stadium this week expected to register a comfortable win and, if footage from training is anything to go by, they could surpass the senior team's 8-0 drubbing of the minnows earlier this year.

Sterling and Zaha in particular look primed to hand out a thrashing, with the young duo captured by FATV scoring some quite breathtaking goals in practice on Tuesday afternoon.

Picked on opposition teams during a small-sided game, Sterling and Zaha take it in turns to skin defenders and crash superb finishes into the net - providing reasons for both their international boss and respective club managers to consider them for selection.

Zaha has struggled to force himself into the reckoning under David Moyes since his transfer to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace, with the 20-year-old having made only one appearance for Manchester United this season.

Sterling, meanwhile, has made just a solitary Premier League start for Liverpool so far this term, and may continue to find things difficult with the Anfield club at the top of the table under the stewardship of Brendan Rodgers.
