Gylfadas striker Serge Djiehoua made the briefest of appearances against Olympiakos Volos earlier in the week.

After being brought off the substitutes bench in an effort to make an impact, the 30-year-old proceeded to earn a straight red card just seven seconds after his introduction.

The Greek second division side already had their backs against the wall, trailing 3-1 with 82 minutes on the clock.

And, with 82 minutes still on the clock, they were down to ten-men as Djiehoua was judged to have elbowed an opponent in the face after tussling for the ball.

At least the veteran saw the funny side of things, laughing his way off the pitch before kissing his wristband and pointing to the sky. The man upstairs didn’t help, with Gylfadas eventually losing 4-1.

Watch the incredible sending-off, first seen on Metro, in the video at the top of this story…
