Fans of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain would appear to favour a move for Barcelona star Andres Iniesta over Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata, according to a French poll reported by the Daily Express.

The poll reveals an interesting and intriguing insight into who supporters of the wealthy Parisians would like to see as the club's next big money signing, with 58% seemingly favouring a switch for Spain playmaker Iniesta and just 30% registering their desire to see compatriot Mata arrive at Parc des Princes.

The other two targets in this 'dream' top four was Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and out-of-favour goalkeeping icon Iker Casillas. That particular pair - both also pivotal member's of Vicente del Bosque's all-conquering Spanish side - jostled for last place with 12% of the vote each.

Chelsea's Mata, who was the club's best player over the last two seasons before seemingly falling foul of returning boss Jose Mourinho this summer, was heavily linked with a switch to Laurent Blanc's free-spending side during a particular frantic summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who joined the Blues from La Liga outfit Valencia during the summer of 2011, appears to have been instructed to adjust his game in order to suit a wider role with Brazilian starlet Oscar now established as Mourinho's favourite in the classic 'no.10' role.
