Ravel Morrison and Wilfried Zaha have resolved the issues that led to the pair clashing during England's under-21 match against Lithuania, reports The Guardian.

Manchester United star Zaha argued with Morrison after the West Ham midfielder failed to release the ball. Morrison reacted physically, leading to the pair having to be separated by team mates.

It was somewhat of a set back for Morrison who has distanced himself from controversy since being sold by Manchester United following several off-field controversies.

Sir Alex Ferguson said at the time that Morrison had to leave Old Trafford to stop his massive potential from going to waste.

But the national paper is reporting that their is no ill-feeling from either party and the pair shook hands after the game and were already laughing about their spat by the time they got on the team bus home.

The new under-21 manager Gareth Southgate has said he now faces a challenge to keep the players united.

He said to reporters:  "It's my job to bring them together as a group, which is going to be a test. We spoke about being a team before the game. We know the potential of the group of individuals.

"The key now is how we come together as a team and that will take time because there is a lot of focus on individuals. Sometimes there is pressure on individuals and one or two of those had a point to prove and did that very well."

Nathan Redmond, who separated the pair shared some light on the matter, saying that Zaha had grown tired of Morrison's selfish play.

"Rav's a class player, sometimes he just has to move the ball a little bit quicker, he told The Guardian. "Sometimes you do get a little bit frustrated with him but you just have to let Rav be Rav because of the things he is capable of."
