Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs says he is enjoying his new role as player-coach at Old Trafford.

The 39-year-old was appointed to the position following the arrival of David Moyes in the summer.

Chelsea are sweating on the fitness of striker Fernando Torres and left-back Ashley Cole ahead of their next two matches against Cardiff City and Schalke.

Torres looks set to miss both games with a medial ligament strain, while Cole is battling to recover from a rib injury.

Arsenal's in-form midfielder Aaron Ramsey insists that the Gunners' faithful haven't seen the best of him yet.

The 22-year-old, who has scored eight goals in all competitions already this season, admits that there is still room for improvement in his game.

Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell made his return from injury in the reserve-team's victory over Rochdale on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old, who played the full 90 minutes, has missed most of the campaign with a hamstring injury but now says he is fit and available for selection.

Real Madrid star Xabi Alonso has praised the club's coach Carlo Ancelotti, who replaced Jose Mourinho in the summer.

The Spain international revealed that Ancelotti, who has received some criticism already this season, has a great relationship with the players and manages the group very well.

And finally, most of the Barcelona stars have returned to training ahead of Saturday's La Liga fixture against struggling Osasuna.

The only internationals left to return are Neymar, Dani Alves and Alexis Sanchez, who are expected to link up with the rest of the squad later today.
