Arsenal score Barcelona style tiki-taka wondergoal

Arsenal scored one of the goals of the season to get off to a terrific start in their, eventually, comfortable 4-1 win over Norwich City on Saturday.

Jack Wilshere was the man to put it away, but it was the lead up to the goal that really took the Emirates Stadium crowd's collective breath away.

Had it been Lionel Messi finishing if off for Barcelona, we would probably be talking about it for weeks - it was that good.

The young England midfielder picked up the ball deep in his own half and moved it up the pitch towards Santi Cazorla, who was making his return from an ankle injury.

Cazorla played a one-two with Wilshere before touching it off first time to Olivier Giroud just inside the Norwich City area. The France striker then played it first time to Wilshere, who had continued his run, the ball went back to Giroud first time and then, with another first touch, sliced open the canaries defence to put Wilshere in on goal to finish coolly.

It was a sensational piece of play and was reminiscent of some of Arsene Wenger's best Arsenal sides.

All four of Arsenal's goal were of the highest quality, with Mesut Özil poaching two and Aaron Ramsey scoring again - this time with a terrific solo effort - to put the Gunners two points clear at the top of the table.
