Arsenal midfielder mocks Manchester United

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is certainly enjoying witnessing the apparent demise of Manchester United, while the Gunners reinforce themselves as a power to be reckoned with in the Premier League.

The north London club sit top of the table after eight games, having not lost since the opening game of the season, while Manchester United are in eighth place, some seven points behind the leaders.

Manchester United have won only three of their games so far this term and find themselves level on points with newly-promoted Hull City, leading to much criticism of manager David Moyes only two months into the new campaign.

Frimpong, like us here at GMS, is something of a fan of schadenfreude, and is taking great pleasure in the decline of Manchester United coupled with the ascent of Arsenal, as he demonstrated with a picture on Instagram.

The 21-year-old Ghana international, who has not played for Arsenal this season, posted a pic on Sunday depicting several prominent Premier League sides as climbers navigating a perilous looking rock-face.

The Arsenal backed climber is leading the way up the mountain, closely followed by Liverpool and Manchester City, but the Manchester United climber is no more, having fallen from the cliff edge towards impending doom.
