Anzhi Makhachkala will look to end their non-winning streak as they face Tromso in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
In their last match in the competition, Anzhi lost 2-0 to Tottenham in Russia. In their last four matches in Europe, Anzhi haven't managed to score a single goal and they haven't had a victory in their last five games - with three draws and two losses.
Tromso are the only team left in the competition to have made it through from the first qualifying round. They have lost their last four away games in Europe without scoring.
Although they only had one shot on target in their first two group stage games, it was enough to get them a point in a 1-1 draw against FC Sheriff Tiraspol. Anzhi have been performing awfully in their domestic league too just recently with six draws and seven losses in 13 matches.
Both teams are in relegation danger in Russia and Norway. Tromso sacked their manager after a 3-2 defeat at home against IK Start earlier this week.
Now, the team is in 14th place - in the relegation zone - two points behind Sagnes Ulf and Sogndal with just three games left. In charge for the visit to Russia will be Steinar Nilsen - the assistant of the former manager.
Struggling in their respective national championships, both teams will enter this game motivated to bring some happiness to their supporters.
