Reading will be looking to build on the three points they earned against Doncaster last week as they host Millwall at the Madejski Stadium.
The Royals sit just inside the play-off places and have a good chance to solidify their place there against struggling Millwall. The Lions are without a loss in three but a late equaliser against QPR last Saturday will give them some hope here.
The last time these sides met, Brian McDermott's side beat the Lions 2-1 at the Den on their way to promotion to the Premier League.
Current manager Nigel Adkins will see promotion as the main aim this season and if they are to get it games like these need to be won. Steve Lomas will be happy to bring back anything to South London - his side have only won three games this season.
They will be helped by Reading's injury woes. Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy is unlikely to feature after suffering a knee injury in training, whilst Danny Williams, Royston Drenthe and Billy Sharp are also out.
Millwall have injury problems of their own - Richard Chaplow and Lee Martin are both injured but Shaun Derry will return after being ineligible to play against QPR.
The form table suggests this will only go one way but Reading will need to be aware of Millwall's useful attack that have netted 14 goals this season. At the back they have leaked 25 goals, the second highest in the league, and could be easily exploited by Reading's in form strikers who hit 4 past Doncaster, if they don't tighten up.
A win for the Royals will move them up as high as fourth in the Championship table, but if Millwall take all three points they could move into the top half of the division.
Either way, despite the early stage of the season, the result could make or break the season for one of these sides.
