Romelu Lukaku suffers FIFA 14 rage

We've all been there. That moment when shouting and screaming simply won't do the job. You need to release your anger somehow, so you end up taking it out on your poor PlayStation controller.

Romelu Lukaku, the powerful striker currently on loan from Chelsea at Everton, posted this Instagram photo on Friday after losing a FIFA 14 match against his teammate and compatriot Kevin Mirallas.

As you can see, the left analogue stick has taken an absolute pounding, while the right stick isn't looking too healthy either.

Lukaku has a sheepish smile on his face, which suggests he was going through the phase known as post-FIFA rage – the stage when you begin to finally calm down and start to feel a little embarrassed about your childish actions.

But, again, don't worry Romelu – we're all guilty.

Perhaps the Belgium international was playing as himself in the game. Earlier this week he tweeted – this is another classic example of FIFA rage, by the way – to complain that he was too slow in the game.

Our advice? Become one of those annoying people who always – without fail – choose to play with Barcelona, Romelu.
