Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hailed Zlatan Ibrahimovic as being better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, according to Goal.

The PSG star has been in sensational form so far this season, and scored four times during his side's 5-0 Champions League win over Anderlecht last week.

Ibrahimovic has now netted 11 times already this year for the French champions, including a wonder strike during the 4-0 drubbing of Bastia last weekend which has drawn much media attention.

And Wenger, who almost signed the big Sweden international early on his career, believes that on current form, the PSG forward is better than Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, the pair who annually fight it out for the status of the world's best player.

The Arsenal boss said: "Is Zlatan better than Messi & Ronaldo? Right now, I'd say he is. At 32, you know how to get the best from your talent."

The 32-year-old was linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in the summer following the arrival of Edinson Cavani. However he opted to stay and has carried over the form which saw him win the Ligue 1 Top Goalscorer award, currently enjoying a hot run of form.
