San Francisco 49ers' safety, Donte Whitner, has claimed he believes his side can play through anything after their triumph over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley yesterday.

Speaking in the post-match press conference Whitner hailed his teams resilience and admitted the game against the Jaguars was a stern test.

We feel like we can play through anything now, Super Bowl, games, weather in Seattle, traveling short, long distance, playing Thursday night football games," Whiter said.

"We feel like we have been tested. We feel like we've been through adversity early in this season and it's going to carry us through the second half."

Whitner had fairly little to do on a night when the 49ers were simply too good for the Jags, finishing up 42-10 winners at Wembley.

The Jaguars have yet to record a victory in the NFL this season and so many were expecting San Francisco to dominate, but the hard-hitting 49ers safety believes that it's all to easy to underestimate opponents and wind up losing, something that Coach Harbaught simply won't allow.

"He's the most paranoid coach in the NFL; I promise you that. Doesn't matter who we are playing, doesn't matter if it's the last play of a practice, he makes sure we are watching our P's and Q's and that's why they're such a good coaching staff, they've been here before," Whitner said.

"They understand the players can take their foot off the gas and they won't allow us too and they make sure we know that. We have a great set of players and a great set of coaches."

The victory over the Jaguars was the 49ers' fifth win in a row, and they'll be looking to continue their impressive run when they return to duty in the US.
