San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was understandably delighted with his team's performance in a 42-10 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley.

The 'visitors' were quick out of the blocks and out of sight midway through the second quarter, with four unanswered touchdowns opening up a huge gap against the winless hosts.

Kaepernick was at the heart of his side's success, and was happy with how things went in the early stages of game eight.

"I think this was one of the first games we've started that fast," he told a bustling press conference post-match.

"Our offensive line has been running great, our defence has been playing well; we have been playing more complete games."

The QB's individual performance certainly wowed the London fans, with the former Nevada college star running in two TDs and connecting with Vernon David for another. And, unsurprisingly, the 25-year-old enjoyed his experience across the Atlantic.

"The London experience has been great overall. I've seen the city a little bit, the people are really nice. It's been great. The 49ers fans travel really well and I was excited about that," he added.

Running back Frank Gore echoed many of his teammates sentiments, after crashing the press conference and taking the stage with his colleague.

The 30-year-old reserved particular praise for the offensive line after his 71-yard, two touchdown game for the 49ers, who put pressure on the Seattle Seahawks at the top of the NFC North win the win.

"Each week we're getting better and better. It's all team. As long as we play as one, we'll be fine," he told the press pack.

"We know the 'O' line is doing a great job, and we believe we can get a first down every time, and the coaches believe in us."

San Francisco now have a bye week following the victory, and will look to make it six consecutive wins when they face the Carolina Panthers in a fortnight.
