There are fewer sights less becoming than the president of a major, global organisation miming an army general playing a trumpet in order to mock one of it's leading lights. Now there's a sentence you never thought you would read, right?

Sadly, that is what the football-watching world was forced to contend with when the twinkle in Sepp Blatter's beady little eyes returned during a talk at the Oxford Union.

The old Swiss goat mocked Ronaldo for being the type of player who would spend too much money on his hair compared to Messi. By default, he also slammed Messi for not caring enough about his hair. What a cheap shot.

Following that came the aforementioned impression, before the 77-year-old decided it wouldn't be a problem for the HEAD OF FOOTBALL to say he liked Messi more, days before the candidates for the Ballon d'Or were announced.

Of course this isn't the first time that Blatter has put his size four loafer in it; indeed he has a long and chequered history of fuax pas, gaffes, boobs, blunders, indiscretions and foul-ups.
