Tom Brady says he will try to keep his son awake to watch the World Seires tonight.

The Boston Red Sox go in to Game 6 tonight knowing a win will seal the World Series against the St Louis Cardinals.

Boston lead 3-2 in the series and face two games at their Fenway Park home in an attempt to win their third World Series in 10 years.

As New England comes to a standstill, Patriots star Brady has admitted that he and his team will be watching the game too and will attempt to keep his six-year-old awake as well.

He is quoted on CBS Sports as saying: "They have a great chance tonight. I'm hoping they pull it out. I know our team is excited to watch."

"I was thinking about that today, to make sure my son is up watching the game. You never know if it happens again."

The Red Sox broke their 86-year duck in 2004 after they routed the St Louis Cardinals 4-0.

This Series has been a closer affair and Boston have had to come back from 2-1 down to lead 3-2 going in the Game 6.
