Carlo Ancelotti has warned Manchester United off the signing of Gareth Bale, reports The Daily Star

Bale, who only signed for the La Liga giants in the summer, has already been linked with a move back to England, with Premier League champions Manchester United interested.

The Welshman has struggled in his early career at the Bernabeu, but gave his finest performance yet for the club in their 7-3 victory over Sevilla last night.

Bale scored the opening two goals of the game and after the match his manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed he will have a long future at the club.

Speaking to reporters, the Real boss said: "Tonight everyone saw the real Gareth.

"He played really well, showing fantastic skills. It takes time [to adapt] but it was a necessity.

"Now he doesn't have problems physically and he is improving his confidence, so he will be very important for us in the future."

Former United player Cristiano Ronaldo also starred for the Spanish outfit as he struck a hat-trick in their La Liga win.

And, with Bale now starting to prove his worth in Spain, United may find it extremely hard to bring the Welsh wizard back to the Premier League anytime soon.
