LeBron James has, perhaps, dropped a hint that his future lies with the Heat after appearing in a Nike commercial that represents something of a love letter to the city of Miami.

It remains unclear where James will be playing his ball after the 2014 season, with a well-publicised break-clause able to be activated at the end of the new campaign.

Links to the LA Lakers have surfaced for James, and Heat fans are understandably nervous that he could leave the franchise when the opportunity arises.

But they may be heartened by the latest offering from Nike, which aired for the first time during Heat's win over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, and shows James enjoy the landscape that Miami has to offer.

Titled 'Training Day', the ad begins at James' home as he cycles out of the gates, before he is joined by countless other South Floridians to embark on a journey AmericanAirlines Arena.

James takes a dip in the ocean, runs along the beach and plays against some local kids in a park, high-fiving and fist-bumping to his heart's content.

James clearly loves Miami, and Miami loves him. But will he stay with the Heat?
