Arsenal target predicts tough Champions League clash

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus is predicting a tight Champions League tie between his side and Arsenal tomorrow night (Wednesday).

Last season’s runners-up host the Gunners in a potentially crucial Group F clash, with the pair tied on six points alongside Napoli at the top of the table.

Dortmund enjoyed success in the pair’s first meeting at the Emirates Stadium a fortnight ago, with Robert Lewandowski’s late winner the difference between the two sides.

However, Reus, who has been linked with a €35million move to the Gunners in recent weeks, is not taking anything for granted and expects there to be little between the two teams once again when they meet at the Westfalenstadion.

"It will be extremely difficult and I don't expect we'll get as many opportunities as we did against Stuttgart," the German international told Ruhr Nachrichten.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has overseen a fine start to the Premier League season, with the north London outfit holding a five-point gap to their nearest rivals.

However, a lack of depth in attack could prove to be the Gunners’ Achilles heel as the campaign goes on, and it’s no surprise to see such a high-quality striker linked with a move to the club.
