Real Madrid star Isco could be set for a shock exit from the Santiago Bernabeu despite only moving to the La Liga giants in the summer, reports talkSPORT.

The former Malaga man has been in and out of Real Madrid's starting line-up with the Spaniard having to compete against the likes of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo for a first team role.

The 21-year-old started the season off by scoring five goals in his first six games, but he has not scored since September 22.

Reports suggest Isco, who has been an unused substitute in Real Madrid's last two games against Rayo Vallecano and Juventus, could be allowed to leave Madrid if they can recoup the £25m they paid for him in the summer.

News of the player's unrest at Real Madrid could prompt Premier League duo Manchester City and Arsenal into renewing their interest in the Spain international.

Manchester City were reportedly heading the queue to sign Isco, who played under Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga, in the summer until Real Madrid forked out £25m on the starlet.
