Who can actually fabricate a realistic move for Messi?

With rumours flying around that an Adidas sponsored team are set to launch a bid for Lionel Messi it has left everyone pondering; who can afford that?

Well, it must be one of the following three teams - Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Chelsea - but none of these will get him.

Real Madrid

For one Madrid and Barcelona do not get along at all, and it's amazing that any transfer actually ever happens between them at all. Really I don't see Barcelona selling possibly the best ever player to their biggest rivals. Do Real even need Messi? Not really, already having Ronaldo and Bale plus the rest of the 'Galaticos' they are hardly desperate for him.

Bayern Munich

Messi and Pep Guardiola didn't have the best relationship towards the end of the former Barcelona manager's reign at the Spanish club, which will have a huge effect. Also, with rumours of a bid for Sergio Aguero, going all out for Messi as well just doesn't seem logical and feasible.

Possibly the most and least likely option. It doesn't really make sense, but a chance to play in the Premier League would be the key to making Messi the undisputed all time great, as it's arguably more prestigious than the Bundesliga, but a move to Mourinho's team would not be Messi's first choice, especially given the history between Messi and Chelsea. The fans might be able to look past it but, it'll surely hinder a move if Messi can't.

Really, unless AC Milan are a lot richer than we think, or Bill Gates is planning a take over at Southampton, Adidas might have to battle Nike for Barcelona's shirt sponsor if they want Messi in a Adidas top.
