Manchester United winger Nani has been offered to clubs in La Liga by his agent with a view to a possible January transfer.

According to Marca, the Portugal international believes his days are numbered at Old Trafford and he instructed his agent to sound out any possible suitors in Spain with regards to a possible switch during the winter window.

Nani has struggled with form and injury for some time now, meaning his first team involvement has been limited and he has made only four Premier League starts this season.

The report claims big-spending Ligue 1 side AS Monaco were interested in the 26-year-old during the summer, but a deal failed to materialise and it was assumed his future at Old Trafford was secured when he signed a contract extension in September.

However, new Manchester United manager David Moyes has not backed up the sentiments made with the announcement of the new contract and Nani has found playing time scarce in the last few weeks.

One reason for Nani's reported desire for a move to Spain could be to do with the World Cup taking place in Brazil next year and a fear of not making the squad.

Portugal will be have to get there first and they face a tough playoff against Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Sweden to book their place, the first leg of which takes place this Friday.
