RM - Cesc Fabregas - 87

Football News

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas once again proved his worth for the Catalan giants, bagging a brace against Real Betis in a 4-1 win which moved Gerardo Martino's side three points clear in La Liga.

Fabregas stepped up in the absence of Barca talisman Lionel Messi, who is now facing two months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Without Messi the former Arsenal captain must become an integral part of Barca's push to maintain a fine start to the campaign and showed what he is capable of in Seville, scoring twice in the second half and showing composure from close range on both occasions.
