No Kobe or LeBron! Michael Jordan picks dream team

Michael Jordan has picked his ultimate pickup team - with no place for LeBron James, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant or a host of other top stars.

It's difficult to cram the world's top players into just five starting spots, but that's what 2K Sports asked the greatest of all-time to do ahead of the release of the NBA 2K14 video game on next-gen consoles.

And Jordan raised a few eyebrows with his selection. Running point for the Jordan "Dream Team" is LA Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

A fairly uncontroversial choice, Jordan played with Johnson on the original 1992 Olympic Dream Team and the point guard is widely regarded as one of the best in the sport's history.

Alongside Johnson and Jordan, the Chicago Bulls legend selected Hakeem Olajuwon, James Worthy and his Bulls partner-in-crime, Scottie Pippen.

Pippen and Jordan combined to win six NBA championships in Chicago, and with Olajuwon, aka "The Dream" in the paint, Jordan's team would take some beating.

Worthy was Jordan's teammate at the University of North Carolina. He spent his entire career with the LA Lakers, winning three NBA titles and a Finals MVP award.

So what do you make of Jordan's team? We want you to join the debate by picking the four players - past or present - you'd put alongside Jordan to create the best team of all-time.
