Wilfried Zaha caught smoking at house party

If there's any lessons to be taken from Jack Wilshere in recent weeks, the most paramount are probably:

A) Be careful how you word your sentences when answering questions.

B) Don't get caught smoking if you're an English professional footballer.

Of course point A) is generally followed by the majority of figures who often find themselves before a camera. However point B) might need to be revised a few times, particularly if your name is Wilfried Zaha.

The Manchester United starlet, whose struggles to make first-team action have been well-documented this year, can't profess to having helped himself too much of late, as he was papped exhaling a large cloud of smoke at a house party.

Zaha, who has also been caught up in a whirlwind of speculation concerning his relationship with David Moyes, and potential reasons for being dropped, will find himself lucky to return to regular action anytime soon if his manager sees the photos, and may face some level of media backlash as a result.

The 21-year-old has moved to immediately dismiss the incident, by stating on his official Twitter account: "All this hype on twitter about me smoking is incorrect. Yes it was a a shisha stick but not a nicotine version."
