With the World Cup now underway in Brazil, GiveMeSport decided it was time to put together the ultimate World Cup dream team for 2014.

We've already seen some players shine in South America on the opening days of the tournament, with Neymar, Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben all bagging braces for their countries.

We fully expect other players to follow in the footsteps of the aforementioned three, and there are plenty of Premier League players and transfer targets to look out for in this World Cup dream team.

Like any great dream team, there are top quality players who miss out, and that's certainly the case here, with several big names not even able to make our bench.

The team is sure to change as the tournament goes on, with unheralded young players making their mark on the biggest stage an.
