French weatherwoman loses World Cup bet: has to present naked

French weather woman Doria Tillier may have to show off her warm front after France's astonishing World Cup play-off turnaround against Ukraine last night.

The Canal+ presenter insisted last week that if Les Blues were able to turn around the 2-0 defect from the first leg of their play-off and book a place in Brazil next summer, then she'd read the forecast completely naked.

No wonder she felt so confident - no team had ever turned around such a deficit in a European World Cup play-off.

Didier Deschamps' side got off to the perfect start with a wave of high pressure against their Eastern Europe opponents - Mamadou Sakho and Karim Benzema got on the scoresheet in the first half to level things up on aggregate.

That prompted the miffed meteorologist, who works on French nightly news and talk show Le Grand Journal, to tweet: "Putain.. 2-0 pour la France. Je commence a stresser" - which roughly translates as "Oh bother. France-Ukraine 2-0. I’m starting to get stressed."

Tillier, who used to be a model, not been heard from since Sakho scored his side's third to send France roaring through to the World Cup - and apparently she's due on air this evening.

Here's hoping it's a full moon....
