Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has chosen Newcastle as his preferred destination as he eyes a January loan move away from Old Trafford, reports

The ex-Crystal Palace star has struggled for opportunities at the Red Devils so far this season and now a number of clubs are interested in taking him on a short term basis.

The 21-year-old has been linked with the likes of Stoke, Everton, Swansea and Fulham, however it now appears that he will opt for a move to St James Park in January

Zaha has yet to make a Premier League appearance for United, having only played in the Community Shield and Capital One Cup this season.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has indicated that he will let the England international leave Old Trafford on a short term basis as Zaha goes in search of first team football.

Alan Pardew will be hoping to land the Manchester United ace as the Magpies continue to climb the Premier League table.
