Arsenal have received a massive boost ahead of their crucial clash against Southampton this weekend, after it was revealed that three of their key players have been declared fit to play.

Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky will all be available for selection against the high-flying Saints, according to the Express.

This comes off the back of reports that the trio were all set to be doubts for the clash, having experienced various problems during the international break.

Despite rumours emerging from the England camp, Arsene Wenger has categorically denied that Wilshere was injured in the match against Germany, and is ready to resume first-team club duties.

The Gunners boss said: "First of all Jack is not injured, that was not the right information.

"Secondly, I have no problem with the FA, they respected completely what they told me and it was (for Wilshere) to play in one game and be on the bench in the other."

It is also thought that Ozil, who was rested by Germany over the international break due to being stricken with a stomach bug, and Rosicky, who has also suffered from illness, will feature against Southampton.

The match has taken on heightened importance given both side's current standings in the Premier League. Arsenal sit in 1st place on 25 points, whilst the Saints have been performing well above expectations and find themselves 3rd in the table.
