Manchester United boss David Moyes will be able to call on three key players for the club's trip to Cardiff City, according to the Daily Star.

Robin van Persie is likely to start after recovering from the toe injury that kept him out of the Netherlands' matches last week, while Nemanja Vidic is also set to take his place in the United starting lineup.

He required hospital attention after suffering a concussion against Arsenal in the 1-0 victory over the Gunners at Old Trafford.

But he's returned to full training, and looks to take his place in David Moyes's squad.

The United boss also had an injury worry over Marouane Fellaini, with the Belgian suffering from a lingering wrist complaint.

Moyes has already confirmed it will require further attention eventually - probably surgery - but he looks set to continue in the Red Devils' midfield.

The Belgian international is suspended in mid-week for the Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen, so is likely to start against Cardiff City.

David Moyes's side travel to the match hopeful of closing the gap on table-toppers Arsenal - the Gunners are currently five points clear.

But the Bluebirds are tough opponents - especially at home - and beat United's title rivals Manchester City 3-2 earlier this season.
