Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs says Arsenal thoroughly deserve their position at the summit of the Premier League table after 12 games played this season.

The Gunners are seven points clear of United despite defeat at Old Trafford earlier this month, and Giggs has been impressed by the form of Arsene Wenger's side this term.

Wenger, meanwhile, is hopeful Arsenal can ensure their passage into the last 16 of the Champions League with victory over Marseille on Tuesday night.

Arsenal must win and hope that Borussia Dortmund fail to beat Napoli in order to progress, and Wenger is confident 12 points will be enough to get them through.

Jose Mourinho's new haircut has been causing something of a stir, and the Chelsea boss claims he trimmed it himself at the club's training ground.

The Blues boss says he borrowed the equipment from Fernando Torres before shaving his locks in front of the mirror.

Pablo Zabaleta says he is always asked about life at the Etihad Stadium by compatriot Lionel Messi.

City are often the subject of conversation when on international duty with Argentina, claims Zabaleta.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes the club are missing the influence of Gareth Bale.

The Wales international left Spurs for Real Madrid for a world record transfer fee on transfer deadline day, and Redknapp says Bale's absence is beginning to tell for Andre Villas-Boas' side.
