Liverpool starlet fined by Almeria

Liverpool starlet Suso has, so far, been making the most of his season-long loan spell at Almeria, and 14 games into the Liga campaign has provided more assists than Lionel Messi and as many as Gareth Bale.

The 20-year-old has been impressive indeed for his temporary employers during the opening months of the season, although his recent behaviour irked the club's hierarchy and resulted in disciplinary procedures being brought against him.

Marca claims that Suso reported late for training on Monday and was subsequently fined for his actions. But, as detailed by Sport Witness, Suso may be further humiliated by the already embarrassing incident after the reasons for his late arrival emerged.

Suso's tardiness was not attributed to any particularly untoward behaviour or a night out in Andalusia, but because the Liverpool midfielder became somewhat tuckered out by an evening on the sofa watching the Spanish version of The Voice.

The player set his alarm for 10am the following morning, not exactly a lark-like early rising, but failed to be awoken from his slumber having been so enthralled by the singing talent contest the night previous. The rock n roll lifestyle of the modern day player knows no bounds.

It is indiscipline that will irritate his full-time employers at Anfield but it is far from a catastrophe for the Spaniard, whose behaviour and performances will remain on the radar of Liverpool management and fans alike as the season progresses.
