Highly-rated Halmstads striker Valmir Berisha claims to have received contract offers from a host of European clubs - including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur - reports Sky Sports.

The Swedish starlet has been the subject of intense transfer speculation since starring at the U17 World Cup, a competition where he finished as top goalscorer.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been credited with an interest in bringing Berisha to Anfield, despite the fact he already has a wealth of attacking talent, with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge currently firing in the first-team.

Andre Villas-Boas is also believed to be monitoring the talented teenager's situation, as Tottenham plan a rival bid to lure the player to White Hart Lane.

"I have got offers from everywhere," confirmed Berisha in an interview with Aftonbladet. "From England, Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland and Russia. There are some options.

"The clubs who have shown the biggest interest are Ajax, Milan, Liverpool, Sunderland, Tottenham and Celtic.

"They have all offered me contracts. But it is a matter of choosing the right one, that is the most important."

Reading between the lines, it would seem that Spurs have the upper-hand over Liverpool when it comes to securing Berisha's signature, given the fact they appear to have less competition for places at the focal point of their attack.

"I want to join a club who need a striker." added the youngster. "Then I can exploit that to get playing time.

"I don't think I will join a very big club. My agent has give me suggestions, but he lets me decide."
