Liverpool star: Suarez & Sturridge untouchable

Liverpool striking duo Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are easily the best attacking pair in the Premier League, according to goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Sturridge and Suarez have both been in sensational form so far this season and have scored 18 Premier League goal between them (nine each) in only 19 appearances.

It is a record that has brought them the moniker 'SAS', which was the famous nickname for Blackburn Rovers pair Chris Sutton and Premier League legend Alaln Shearer.

Liverpool fans have been treated to some pulsating attacking football by Brendan Rodgers' men at Anfield this season, taking them to second in the Premier League, and Mignolet is sure the two forwards are currently the best in the business.

"I come across them every day in training and I don't think there is a better partnership than the two of them," he said to Sky Sports.

"They can produce a lot of goals and hopefully they can keep doing that."

Only four points behind leaders Arsenal, Liverpool are playing as well as they have for many years and there is a buzz around Anfield that something special could happen if Sturridge and Suarez can continue their current form.

Mignolet has also drawn plaudits since he switched to Merseyside in the summer to replace fan favourite Pepe Reina as number one.
