Top 10: Underperforming Premier League summer signings (7)

5. Jozy Altidore | Sunderland

Football News

Jozy Altidore scored a laughably bad one goal in 28 Premier League appearances with Hull City during the 2009/10 campaign, but that didn't put Paolo Di Canio off from paying AZ Alkmaar £6m for his services in the summer.

The USA international performed well in the Eredivisie - but, after failing to score in his first eight league appearances for Sunderland, he is firmly on course to cement his status as a Premier League flop.
