Football News

Barcelona, it seems, possess a never-ending supply of gifted starlets in their famed La Masia academy.

And the latest to arrive off the production line is 17-year-old Adama Traore, who made his Barcelona debut as a late substitute against Granada at the weekend, before making his second appearance for the club during Tuesday's Champions League defeat at Ajax.

Adama - as he is more commonly referred to - is of Malian descent but was born and raised in Catalunya.

And after impressing in the club's youth teams, Barcelona head coach Gerardo Martino decided he could wait no longer before throwing him into the deep end.

The rapid winger - who is equipped with sublime skills, plenty of power and loves to drive towards the byline - did not look out of place alongside the likes of Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro after replacing Neymar.

A confident lad, Spain U19 international Adama is one to keep a close eye on in the coming months and years.
