Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is wanted by European duo Bologna and Werder Bremen in January, according to talkSPORT

Viviano, who is currently on a season-long loan at the Gunners, is yet to feature at the north London club and he could now be tempted by the opportunity of first-team football.

It had been expected that the 27-year-old would stay at the north London outfit for the rest of the season, however Italian outfit Bologna and German side Werder Bremen both believe they have a realistic chance of securing the goalkeeper's services as early as January.

With Viviano behind Wojciech Szczesny in the pecking order at the Emirates, he may opt for a move to either Serie A or the Bundesliga.

Both clubs will have to approach his parent club Palermo and will hope to take him away from the Gunners.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be hoping he can stay at the club for at-least the rest of the season in order to act as cover to Szczesny.
