Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted the club will keep their three strikers at the club for the rest of the season.

The future of Senegal forward Demba Ba had been in doubt, however the Blues boss has now revealed that the striker is part of his plans for the rest of the season.

The 28-year-old had been linked with a move to Chelsea's Premier League title rivals Arsenal, but any potential move to the Emirates now appears to be off.

In his press conference ahead of the Blues' clash with Southampton this weekend, Mourinho told reporters: "In January market we are not going to buy any striker, we go to the end of the season with Fernando, Samuel and Demba Ba."

Arsenal may now have to look elsewhere as they look to improve their options in attack. The Gunners are currently extremely reliant on Frenchman Olivier Giroud and only have Nicklas Bendtner as his main competition.

But, as Arsenal look to win the Premier League this season, they will not be adding Chelsea's forward to their ranks.

Chelsea will be hoping to cut the Gunners' lead at the top of the table this weekend as they play host to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
