Manchester United boss David Moyes has given fans some cause for hope concerning the injuries the squad faces heading into the crunch match against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The Red Devils were expected to be without star striker Robin van Persie and captain Nemanja Vidic, but if Moyes is to be believed then both men could make a return for the match at White Hart Lane.

Speaking ahead of that match Moyes was in a confident mood when talking to reporters, responding positively when asked about the injury woes plaguing his squad.

"They all have a chance," replied the Scot, and the update is sure to go down well with supporters.

Van Persie has been missing for the last two games after picking up a groin problem whilst Vidic hasn't played since the win over Arsenal on November 10.

United head into the game knowing that another win will keep them within touching distance of the majority of the teams ahead of them.

Tottenham meanwhile, having suffered the heavy 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City last weekend, will be looking to leapfrog their opponents by picking up the three points.
